ExxonMobil Aviation Offers First Ever Instruction and Certification Program for Customer Service Representatives FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 19, 2004--ExxonMobil Aviation
today announced that its PremierCare Certification System, originally
developed for line service personnel, is now available to Customer
Service Representatives (CSRs) at Fixed Base Operations (FBOs).
PremierCare is a proprietary ExxonMobil Aviation certification system
that has been used to train line employees since 2001. Now, for the
first time in the industry, CSRs will have their own dedicated
certification system through the recently expanded PremierCare
program.
"The general aviation community expects the highest level of
customer service," says Richard Oldham, North America general aviation
manager, ExxonMobil Aviation. "Extending PremierCare to CSRs will help
ensure that FBO customer service representatives meet this expectation
with every customer, in every way, every time."
The PremierCare certification program was developed around
comprehensive training tool for Avitat and other ExxonMobil
Aviation-branded FBO managers and supervisors to train their employees
on all aspects of customer service. There are nine customer service
concepts that trainees are required to master to become certified
CSRs; these include:

-- Discovering Customer Needs
-- The Importance of Body Language
-- Telephone Tips for Success
-- Modifying Your Communication Style
-- Anticipating Customer Needs
-- The Importance of Teamwork
-- Providing for Upset Customers
-- Effective Networking
Once an employee has successfully completed training and
demonstrated proficiency in all areas, he or she is declared a
PremierCare Certified Specialist. Graduates receive a Certificate of
Completion and a distinctive PremierCare name badge.
