FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 17, 2004--Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) today announced the kick-off of a promotion for the ExxonMobil MasterCard. The "Sizzlin' Summer" promotion will run through the end of September.

Benefits for customers who apply for and receive an ExxonMobil MasterCard include:

    --  A $20 rebate credit toward future Exxon and Mobil gasoline and
        inside convenience store purchases.

    --  Ongoing rebates of 3 percent on all purchases made with the
        card at Exxon and Mobil locations and 1 percent on purchases
        made everywhere else MasterCard is accepted.

    --  Cardholders will enjoy a low variable 9.99% APR on purchases.

In-store Point-of-Purchase signage and radio and television advertising will support the promotion. The television ads, running through September, will air during live NASCAR racing coverage.
