Syniverse Technologies Signs Wi-Fi Roaming Agreement with Truckstop.net

News Summary: Truckstop.net has signed a roaming agreement with Syniverse Technologies enabling access to Truckstop.net's nationwide hotspots.

TAMPA, Fla. - July 14, 2004 - Syniverse Technologies, a leading global communications company, announced it has formed a Wi-Fi roaming agreement with Truckstop.net, a leading service provider specializing in wireless Internet connectivity and networking solutions. As a result of the agreement, operators using Syniverse's Mobile Data Roaming Services will be able to offer their subscribers seamless roaming access onto Truckstop.net's Wi-Fi network, which consists of more than 500 Wi-Fi enabled truck stops and travel plazas in the United States and Canada.

The roaming agreement is part of Syniverse's Mobile Data Services that includes AAA broker service, wholesale data billing and reporting, and an online graphical user interface (GUI) to facilitate customer care and roaming agreement management. This suite of services is designed to simplify the business and technical relationships among operators and venues offering Wi-Fi to their own and visiting subscribers.
