H&R Block To Recruit Tax Professionals At Latino Connections Event Residents Interested in Learning Income Taxes Also Encouraged To
Attend
CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 2, 2007--H&R Block, the world's
largest tax services provider, will host a job fair from 9:30 a.m. to
1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, as part of its Latino Connections event at
the Belmont Assembly of God Church, 6050 W. Belmont Ave., in Chicago.
Anyone interested in learning more about employment opportunities
with H&R Block is encouraged to attend. Information about the H&R
Block Income Tax Course will be available at the job fair.
The class includes 69 hours of instruction and generally meets two
or three times a week for three hours. H&R Block offers the course in
English, as well as a bilingual course in Spanish. Multiple class
locations are offered, and course schedules are flexible so students
can take the course without sacrificing existing work, school or
family schedules.
The H&R Block Income Tax Course is designed to help participants
learn about basic and complex tax situations. From identifying the
correct filing status and number of dependents, to learning how to
qualify for deductions related to self-employment and
alternative-energy vehicle purchases, the course educates participants
on the tax-preparation process.

Students will discover that their new skills possibly can open the
door to a new career that puts the skills they'll acquire during the
classes to good use - like working at H&R Block.
