AMECO Awarded Services Contract for Reliant Energy ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - July 10, 2001 - AMECO, the fleet outsourcing and construction support unit of Fluor Corporation (NYSE:FLR), today announced that it has been awarded a contract to provide fleet maintenance and repair services for Reliant Energy Power Generation's (REPG) fleet equipment at its Texas GENCO plants.
The contract, valued up to $6 million, encompasses a diverse 600-unit fleet spanning Reliant's coal and gas generation stations. The contract's duration is three years with two one-year options.
