Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh and favorite film characters now available

St. Paul, Minn. and Burbank, Calif.¾ More than seventy years of Disney entertainment premiere today in a new venue when favorite Disney characters make their appearance on personal checks from Deluxe Corporation (NYSE: DLX).

The introduction of the new line of personal checks - which Deluxe expects to be one of its most popular designs - marks the first time Disney characters have been available to the general public on checks and personal-finance accessories. Disney checks from Deluxe will be available in four different designs: Mickey and Pals; Pooh and Pals; Classic Pooh; and Disney Film Magic, which includes images from The Jungle Book, Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp and other favorite Disney movies.

Despite growing acceptance of debit cards, smart cards and electronic bill payment, the themed personal check continues to defy predictions and maintain its popularity in the marketplace.

Additional enhancements for the new line of Disney checks - including coordinating checkbook covers, symbols and messages - will also be available.
