Barloworld Coatings to acquire Prostart Investments Barloworld Coatings today announced its has signed heads of agreement to acquire a majority stake in privately owned Prostart Investments 93 (Pty) Limited. Prostart is a large independent distributor of automotive refinish coatings and ancillary products. The deal is subject to a due diligence process and Competition authority approval.
Negotiations with a BEE partner in respect of this transaction are well advanced and an agreement in this regard is expected to be signed shortly.
